Gabri Christa’s new experimental documentary Sheila will be presented as part of the 2022 Harlem International Film Festival (Hi)’s official selection for its 17th edition – a hybrid event taking place May 5-15.

On Saturday May 7th at 8:00pm, Gabri Christa’s Sheila will be presented at AMC Magic Johnson Harlem 9 Theatres and virtually as part of the “Uptown Cinema - Saturday Short Cuts”. This event will also include screenings of En Avant by Sarah Jean Williams, The Other Talk by Sultan Ali, Jr., Lowlife by Alexandra Hinojosa, If My Voice Rang Louder than My Skin by Kyra Peters, Silent Partner by Aristotle Torres, and B-Box by Xavier Michael Griffiths, as well as a post-screening talkback with the filmmakers.
