Join LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs and Gabri Christa on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 12–3 pm at Dia Chelsea for The Break-Up, a powerful, multimedia experience exploring displacement, tenant rights, and memory through poetry, performance, and film.

The Break-Up is a performative installation featuring LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs’s new video and publication, shedding light on New York’s housing crisis and the complexities of being a native Harlemite. LaTasha and Gabri combine text, film, and performance to explore the embodied impact of spatial memory and the mysterious forces behind gentrification, with a “memorial service” honoring the resilience of the community and its struggle for home.

The viewing starts at 12 pm and the service begins at 2 pm.
