QUARANTINE (part I) & SAVONETA (part II)

In her series of short films, “Another Building Dancing,” award winning filmmaker and choreographer creates narrative dance theater tailored to buildings with important colonial and slave histories. These evocative and visually stunning works confront the silence of space and memory along the Middle Passage with the beauty of movement. The second installment, Savoneta, takes place in Curacao, an important slave depot in the Dutch Caribbean.
