The Moving Body–Moving Image Biennale Festival, gives voice to social themes in the hybrid form of dance filmmaking, known as ScreenDance. The Festival was founded in 2018 by Gabri Christa, who is also the curator. The 2020 Festival is called Moving Body-Moving Image: Aging & Othering and is dedicated to the Aging MOVING body on screen.
In previous years, Moving Body-Moving Image Biennial Festival has partnered with ScreenDance Miami Festival to share incredible films with Miami audiences. This year, our partnership expands to the virtual, providing full access to Moving Body-Moving Image 2020 Festival films not only for ScreenDance Miami audiences but also for audiences around the world.
