DanzAbierta de Cuba is in the USA for the first time and making their Jacob’s Pillow debut. Gabri Christa will participate in a talk about the group’s performance and history of Cuban Dance. She was one of the invited founders of Danzabierta at the time (1988) at the invitation of  Artistic director Marianela Boan and choreographed, danced  and taught with the company during her time in Cuba.
