Screendance Miami 2018

Just got back from the 5th Screendance Miami. The Festival has grown so much and remains one of my favorite Dance on Camera Festivals. The first year it opened with all 3 of my Another Building films, which was January 2014. I was on the Jury selecting the films and during the Festival held the post-performance discussions, opening night with Michelle Murray and other screenings with Artistic Director, choreographer, dancer Pioneer Winter. On Sunday the 21st I gave a Workshop at the Miami Light Project which inspiring dancers and filmmakers.

The Winning Film Black Stains will have it’s premiere at the Moving Body – Moving Image Festival I’m curating on April 7th at Barnard College.
