Tania Isaac’s work, any.body.here, is a series of movement vignettes that, with the audience’s help, unpacks the question of identity and how we define ourselves. Magdalena, a multimedia dance work by Gabri Christa, takes on the life of Gabri’s mother, revealing issues of race, trauma, immigration, motherhood,Dutch colonialism, and through it all: dementia. The two performances together amount to an event that sits at the intersection of process, technology, performance and conversation.
