July-October Update

It has been a busy summer and fall already. So here we go. In short.

JULY:
QUARANTINE;
Screened in competition and as Jury selection at CINEDANS Festival in Amsterdam on July 3 and 4th:

AUGUST:
QUARANTINE screened in Capetown, South Africa on August 22nd

I made a new piece for the Performance Dance Company (PDC) of the University in Utah’s Modern Dance Department during a 2 week residency. I also taught some classes in both Modern and Caribbean and screened QUARANTINE and SAVONETA

SEPTEMBER:
Received a finishing Fund award from Dance Films Association.

OCTOBER:
Premiere of my piece “The earth still needs her footsteps”for the Performance Dance Company in Utah.(two weeks of performances)

3 city tour of QUARANTINE with other Jury Dance Shorts in three cities in China:
Beijing 8&9 October, Shanghai 11& 12 October, Kunming 18 & 19

as well as a tour of the Netherlands during Dance Week.

and yes: continuing dancing with Tania Isaac in Philadelphia under the watch full eyes and direction of Marianela Boan.
